poor Tanya... shes still alive at least, but I feel bad for her. Poor Tanya can't catch a break

Things start really heating up

A lot more combat in this one. Some nice war buddy scenes with Visha. The author for sure trolls us with one scene that I won’t spoil. Seriously you can feel the tension and despair peaking to new heights. I’m also glad that they have finally gotten consistent with the narrator for a while there they were changing every other book.

Traditional Tanya...the best one

Tanya is overworked to the bone as usual...if u like this whole series I do not see a reason u do not like this book :)

Hans Von Zettour the Goat!

While some might question the use of having the main character show up only a few times, and not be the main focus in the first few novels. The author has done a fantastic job of this. Truly Stellar!

I must say that Hans Von Zettour is a character that is filled with such depth that I, The reader, would happily serve him and follow any order to certain death. 100/10 the greatest fictional genial ever written.

oh and the rest of the character were well written. tanga or what ever their name is, was definitely wicked in this

A great story

the story of this world's war and politics are both interesting and entertaining. the battles are always described so well.
my only complaint is that the narrator Shiromi Arserio was replaced with Erin Rieman.
both are good narrator but Shiromi Arserio voice of a lot of the characters sounded better in my opinion
I guess Erin Rieman does so better at reading it more clearly but I don't hear the difference n that complain.
I guess I should be happy that these audio book gets released faster with Erin Rieman as the narrator, but idk.
