Abyss to abounding love

I have been listening to Lacey since I was younger and the music always resonated with me. As I felt like I was diving into the abyss I heard her testimony on YouTube and cried. I want to thank Lacey for being guided by the spirit and serving God. I also ask for prayers that I may be strong in finding my purpose that God has laid out for me too. Note: I would pause the book at specific points and play referenced music such and Nirvana or her own music like ‘I’m so sick’ at relevant moments making an already great book interactive in understanding more deeply through reading lyrics, tonality and passion). Her book answered a lot of questions I had about her and the band Flyleaf
From her humble troubled beginnings to her relationships to co-founding Flyleaf and why she left the band to become a full-time mother/wife.
She makes it clear that she is human and will falter, but her love of God will remain. She lives day by day to keep her demons at bay.

After listening to Lacey's story I feel inspired to keep fighting my fight with depression among other demons. Her focus on God not religion makes me feel like someone understands me. Hopefully, this audio book will help you continue your fight too.
