Publisher's Summary

There continue to be many questions concerning the "Rapture" of the Church and its apparent contrast with the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ. Where does this strange view come from? Is the term "rapture" even in the Bible?

Clearly, the idea of the Rapture can be considered the most preposterous belief in Biblical Christianity. The situation regarding the doctrine of the Rapture is painfully similar to the famous quote by Dr. Richard Feynman, speaking of quantum physics:

"I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics...in fact, it is often stated of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it, in fact, is that it is unquestionably correct."

Stay Alert, Watch and Pray - get this book!

While we watch and pray for that great Catching Away, it's so wonderful to gain insight and to be reminded, lest we too fall asleep and fail to remain alert (like the 5 unwise virgins). Dr Chuck Missler remains ever sensitive to Gods leading, and I like many others, so appreciate his sharing this gift with the rest of us. "Even so, Come Lord Jesus"

Segments from service, not really a “book”

I like a narrator better, even if it is the author. A recording of church services were just not my preference. It was clear in speech, easy to understand. I’m not use to him nor his style so it was a little annoying. There was a lot of repeating from week to week. Please don’t let my opinion discourage you from downloading this book. To each, their own. :)

Absolutely wonderful!

Extremely powerful and thought provoking book which goes so much deeper than simply discussing the Rapture. The author sites everything with Bible verses, and defines words that are unknown to most. He goes into extraordinary detail on ideas and verses that are important in what he is discussing.

This book has brought me so much more wisdom to help me understand the Bible and end times, and I began to cry happily as he concluded in chapter 15, as he was describing Jesus in endless different ways; ways that one could never imagine, that he portrayed as poetry. Beautiful, simply beautiful!

Good Hypothesis But Not True<br />

I listened to it twice as the rapture is Jewish dogma gone astray and the author tries to lead Christians down the wrong path using the rapture and Daniel to blaze the trail for him, but book was thought provoking but again, there is no rapture and the transition after death is instantaneous as Jesus said it on the cross and that's enough for me.

A must read!!

We loved this book. Dr Chuck Missler explains the Rapture of God's faithfull Church so very clearly. We don't have to be Theologians to be able to understand what God has said to us in His Word regarding The Rapture. Dr Missler explains God's purpose for the Rapture so well. The narration was very easy to listen to.
