Publisher's summary

What happens when you die? We don't like to think about death. It's not a pleasant subject, and we avoid even discussing it seriously or giving it any diligent study. Yet our appointment with death is the most certain event in our future. We all know of personal examples when death has come suddenly to people, without warning, without preparations; car accidents, stray bullets, unforeseen strokes. When it comes our time, what do we expect death to be like? How will we enter eternity?

Loved the depth of the message!

Loved the Pastors teaching on some of the more complex or difficult concepts. It was a great listen.

Small but Mighty!

This is a relatively short audiobook (sermon) but every word from Dr Chuck Missler’s mouth is carefully crafted and full of insight and wisdom. Dr Missler is gifted in many ways, such that he is incredibly intelligent yet able to articulate his knowledge from the Bible, and elsewhere, in a way for the masses to understand. Most importantly for me is that he does NOT dumb down his explanations, or speak in layman’s terms. He provides insightful analogies and reasoning for everything. My only caution is that anything from Dr Missler is not “light bedtime material”. Many times I found myself pausing the app to write notes, thoughts, questions, etc. I suspect listening to this again, there will be even more insightful and important information that I missed the first time. Listen to his message, his explanations, and his reasoning. He is more academic / data driven than many others I have listened to in this genre, which I enjoy. But couple that with his habit of quick speaking and the occasional mumble, you’ll want to provide your full attention.

Good information….but

Chuck’s information is without a doubt in depth but he speaks so rapidly that it’s extremely hard, if not impossible to understand. This was my second audiobook from him, giving him the benefit of the doubt as to his hurried speech. I’ll not order his books again because of that.

A closer walk with our Lord Jesus!

Chuck Missler has been touched by our Lord and has been sent to me for a closer walk everyday with our Lord.
I know he is in heaven now and look forward to meeting him when I get there.
A closer walk each day is my hope on this earth until the Lord calls me home.

comforting, compelling and scary.

I am a big fan of Dr. Missler, no one tells it like it is like him. in this work he very clearly untangles any sconfusions about the various Biblical destinations of the dead, including: the grave, She'll, Hades, Tartarus, Gehena, Heaven, and hell. Eternal life is a given, where you spend it is not.
