A Beautiful Story

I loved this story which was narrated wonderfully. I wish I could have known the main characters, especially Tandy. How many times do we really know what’s in a person’s heart and yet we deign to judge them? Thank God for the Iola’s of this world. I highly recommend this book to those who look to be uplifted by a story.

I thought the story was a good one. I loved “Befoe We Were Yours” but had trouble with this narrator. She put too much emotion into her reading and I actually had trouble understanding her.

Too much emotion.

Fabulous read

I absolutely LOVED this book. Beautifully written and easy to identify with on all accounts. The message is one of comfort and peace and one that is so needed in our world today.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Prayer Box?

My favorite part of the story is when her daughter began to realize it was okay to hang out with mom.

I enjoyed her voice.The grittiness of it.

Sweet book

This book held my interest. Nothing too deep or hard to follow. Perfect for listen ing to before bed. The narrator was hard to understand when doing certain characters. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Wish I could give it 4-1/2

It was a nice story. The narration was good, and I would have given it 5 stars, but the narrator called the Benoit House Beignet House a few times, and the mistake was annoying to me. I also found the victim mentality of the main character annoying; however, I realize this was important for the story line. Overall, very good.

Solid 3.75 book

Nice book to listen to if you are looking for something more light hearted. You really have to listen well when the narrator reads as the different characters. She kind of over did it and it gets tricky to understand. I would reccommmend the book though
