In his second book, The Physician’s Guide to Stocks and Options, Dr. Loo examines the process of leveraging paper assets into additional passive revenue streams in your investment portfolio and as an overall strategic component for additional income, wealth generation, and financial independence. He explains his simple three-step stock investing process that made him financially independent by the age of 29 and that he has honed over the last 10 years.

In addition, Dr. Loo looks at various strategies using options including:

  • Hedging
  • Obtaining exponential gains
  • Leverage
  • Insurance
  • Determining price and dates of specific stock purchases
  • Harnessing control versus ownership
  • Getting paid to purchase a stock
  • Getting paid to sell a stock
  • Learning how to rent out your stock

Psychology, technical analysis, risk and money management, and tax-saving strategies using a Roth IRA and 401k are also discussed in this audiobook.

If you’re interested in achieving financial freedom, looking for portfolio diversification, or increasing your passive income streams, then look no further. In this seminal audiobook, you will be immersed in a myriad of paper asset strategies that will make you financially independent and set you on your path to financial freedom.

WOW! The narrator literally just said a CALL OPTION has the right to SELL shares & a PUT OPTION has the right to BUY shares!!!! I'm sure that was a typo/misread but how do you not catch that!!!!

This book is a fantastic book on getting started in personal finance and investing using a 3-step process for investing in stocks, and using options in your portfolio by selling covered calls, selling cash-secured puts, and-or buying calls-puts to hedge your downside risk.

The first review below by Heidi Jo is inaccurate (looks like the review was reported and taken down by Audible).

First- the section on Options is in Chapter 6 and not Chapter 5.

Second, if you sell a call option- that gives you the right to sell your shares at a particular price (strike price) at a set date in the future (options expiration). If you sell a put option, that option gives you the right to buy shares at a particular price at a set date in the future.

There are a variety of strategies that you can use depending upon whether you are on the buy or sell side of the call or put option.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and obviously this book isn't the right fit for you.

However, please state accurate information before writing a negative review based on inaccurate information.

Thank you,
Christopher H. Loo, MD-PhD
