Strong start to series!

I’m always looking for a good angst romance along the lines of fallen crest series etc, this book has a great start. It’s a rh (or will be I think lol) and it’s got the angst of childhood besties turned enemies turning something more. It reminds me a bit of Bully by Penelope Douglas which I loved so I’m glad I picked this one up for a credit and took a chance.
Another thing I like is the female protagonist is just the right balance of tough & self assured with a sweet caring nature but not a doormat.

the narrators were absolutely amazing, the story is addictive and I absolutely love Belle harper. I felt it difficult to press pause. I finished book 1 in only 1 day!

I really enjoyed the story and the performance . The cliffhanger was absolutely not what I was expecting!

For a RH high school bully..

Stumbled upon this series… relatively surprised, minimal spice but didn’t shy from the angst and sexual tension. The story is decent, 4 besties grow up together n the one girl leaves at 12 n returns 4 years later still in love with her 3 best friends. It’s not too cheesy, has some ow drama, the jock, the cinnamon roll n the bad boy.

No Reverse Harem in Book 1

There are many hints of the reverse harem and it is leading up to it but what I wanted to be reading about and what I actually read about is very different. Yes this is probably a lead up to it but it more about 4 best friends a girl and 4 boys and the relationship as kids and now as 16yr old teenagers. I want to say I was disappointed and on some level I am and would be more disappointed if the actual story wasn't pretty good.
