Needs more back story

It was good, not great. Easy to follow along with, but quite predictable. Not exactly a “dark” read.

This is an explosive beginning to this series and will definitely keep you interested all the way through. Loved that there are multiple narrators since this is from multiple POVs. Diving right into book two!!

Degradation

I don't dislike dominant men but degradation makes me sick. I had a hard time with this book from the beginning as it's set it a world where women are nothing and treated like trash.
I quit after chapter 12 when Kane, who is supposed to be a member of Sawyer's harem uses Sawyer while calling her disgusting names in a "steamy" scene that had me shaking in rage.

the narration was good.

Nice slow burn but no RHM yet

This is a nice book, not too angsty and not about teenagers. The FMC is really cool and the
guys are a good mix of sexy, mysterious snd angry.
However… that first sex scene nearly made me stop listening. It was so badly written ”her hands squeeze my hard pectorals as she takes in my chiseled chin and well trained body ” I kid you not! And it gets worse from that.
The sex does get better after that first scene though. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great book so far I love that it’s different than all the others that are all the same

Strong Female Lead

I enjoy books like this with strong female characters that do not play stupid or helpless. But this story has been lengthened by excessive internal dialog and other narration that isn't neceesary to tell the story. Less thinking and more conversations would be great but it appears the characters talk to themselves more than each other.

Great voices, great story line

It took me a little bit to get into this book, but once I was in, I was hooked. I will be reading the second series.

I am so into this series. I love Red she's so strong and vulnerable at the same time she's amazing and don't get me started on the men in this story good God Hotttttt. You must get this. 5 star's all the way.

I don’t know how to explain the magnitude of feelings I felt when listening to the audiobook. The storyline was intense but I loved it all, thank you.

Just the pros and cons you decide. I love the action /adventure! Finally a strong female character. That’s part of what drew me to this story!

It’s hard to rate this book because there’s so many different components. Let’s start with an narration definitely five stars. Kudos. You brought the characters to life!

storyline overall interesting, and kept me on my toes!

I guess I didn’t care for the part of our female lead being so wishy-washy between the two lead male characters. I wish they would’ve just picked one. Also, there is not a lot of romance or hot scenes throughout the book -very limited and short-lived. Sigh.. I was hoping for more.

In general, if you’re looking for a alpha female that goes for it and kicks butt, this may be your book. Ahhh! Namaste.
