I was surprised by how forthcoming Jenifer is about her life. But her story was therapeutic for the reader. The story resonated with me on so many levels.

Excellent book and great narration by Ms. Lewis. I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

The story is repetitive but it’s good

There were a lot of parts that were repeated. I didn’t like that the story wasn’t in a chronological order.
Loads of good life advice. Helpful do’s and don’t s. Couldn’t listen to this at work with out laughing at certain parts. In true Jenifer Lewis fashion it was performed with excellence!

Jenifer Lewis' candid words and unique voice are such a beautiful combination. The honesty in retelling the story of her life is so refreshing, and endearing.
I love her even more now, and I'm proud of her doing THE WORK of living with mental illness and thriving.

great read

This book is just as hilarious as she is, very reflective and insightful as well. I finished it In two days, couldn't seem to stop listening!
