Practical for any parent

Jamie beautifully told his story whole being very open and vulnerable. This would be a book that I would like to do a club topic on with other parents because of the way he laid out his experiences.

Loved it

I was delighted to find this book. Even more delighted to listen. The only disappointment was that it ended to soon. I want to hear more. I saw so much of my own life with my father and my son woven into the anecdotes shared in this book. I experienced a full range of emotions all of them tempered with humor.

I loved every minute! Thank you for the laughs and the tears! I wasn't able to stop listening. and now I'm mad its over.

Insightful

Jamie really allows his audience to get to know him deeply as a son, grandson, and dad. I have always liked Jamie but have to say, I have never seen any of his movies (as a lead) or TV show, just stand up comedy. His narration is so vivid I can picture him doing the things he describes.

Just FYI, Corinne is not a narrator in this book so if you're looking forward to hearing her say anything other than the chapter names and the foreword, you'll be disappointed.

This book was so refreshing to listen to. The honesty about making mistakes and learning from them. I think everyone should read and or listen to this book, especially fathers!

Funny & kind of raw

What a great story a Father's Love and evolution. Nobody's Perfect but we all have to try and at least show up for those we love. Thanks for sharing Mr. Bishop. I did laugh out loud!
