This beautiful children's book follows Curly Kate, a quirky little girl with a big personality, and her puppy, Buttercup, as she learns about caring for and not taking those she loves for granted. Two entertaining stories teach young listeners about love, responsibility, and thankfulness.
In "Curly Kate Lost Her Puppy," Kate gets Buttercup for her birthday. Kate needs to be more busy with pet ownership. When Buttercup disappears, Kate learns the importance of loving and caring for the people we love.
The second story, "Adventure in the Woods," follows Kate and Buttercup as they explore the neighboring forests. A squirrel's mischief in Kate's backpack teaches her that life doesn't always go as planned. Kate learns flexibility and delight in unexpected situations through her setback.
