amazing narration
This is the second Slater book for me- I loved the previous one, though I had.some unanswered questions. I felt maybe I'd just missed a few details.
in this book it was worse. I had so many questions.
Even though the ending is spelled out, a bit awkwardly, I still felt there were huge holes.
The narration is superb though..

The build dup was awesome!
The characters were colorful. Each has their own little reserve -- their own secret which came out slowly VERY slowly! All intertwined. Surprise ending, satisfying!
