interesting story line, great narration

very satisfying book, wonderful narration. characters who are relatable and likeable. plenty of twists and turns!

I was invested in what happened to Leona and Rosie. I had a hard time at times with Saffy as she sometimes annoyed me. Poppy annoyed me as well. They were definitely imperfect MC. The only other minus was the main twist was predictable. It held my attention and was a super fast read.

Awesome Plot

I loved this book, great twists, well developed characters. Unpredictable plot and nice wrap up of all the characters. Starting my 3rd book by L. K. Slater

The lisp was a nightmare

Ok. How do you read books professionally with an intermittent lisp?? I forced myself to get past that issue because the story was at least interesting. Until the end. The wrap up was just so boring I find myself not really caring at all about who did what and why.

Fantastic!

Excellent story that had me guessing to the very end. Really enjoy the audio actress as well. She always does such a great job. Highly recommend this book.

Unrealistic Storyline

The plot was interesting overall, but it was annoying that the author didn’t have a realistic storyline about Saffy being the main suspect. All the police would have had to do was check with the Uber driver and the school to verify the timeline. It seemed like filler to make her the suspect.

Childhood is tough to navigate, especially when Adults make it more difficult.

Intriguing twists & turns that often are traced back to Childhood & Teenhood that have a way of resurfacing in Adulthood.

Good story

The plot held my attention through the twist and turns. The reader did a good job delineating the voices of the different characters. However, she had an annoying habit of dropping the last vowel of some words making it hard to understand: police would become “poli”, face would become “fa”, princess became “prin”, etc

British delight! When I discovered K.L. Slater’s “Message Deleted,” narrated by Annabel Schobel, on Audible, I couldn't wait. I promptly put my previous listen on hold. Slater never disappoints, and "Message Deleted" is no exception. Her creative brilliance interweaves a complexellent web of twists and turns, keeping me hooked and guessing until the very end. Schobel’s narrative talents bring this ensemble cast to vivid life. I was thoroughly engaged throughout and thrilled with the depth and emotion. The plot centers around Saffy, who receives a cryptic text message from her best friend, Leona, only to have it deleted moments later. She becomes involved in a mystery surrounding Leona’s disappearance, her daughter and oh, so much more. Who can be trusted? Multifaceted with suspenseful surprises and shockers around every corner, I found myself intently listening with full attention to every detail. Get this one now. I’m thrilled I did. So highly recommended, I want to scream from the rooftop, “Epic, I say! EPIC! EPIC! EPIC!”
