Truly Twisted!

The narrators were all great! Having a different story teller for each chapter enhances the fact that each chapter is a different person & story within a story. This book kept me coming back for more, even as I winced, gasped, and sometimes agreed with each twisted tale.

it was a very fun book of mini stories that can actually happen to us however, it was just a little confusing at times. Fun new book though. good reminder for who we choose to love, keep close or trust

What’s REALLY behind the women of the book club

I liked a short story about each of the women in the this affluent book club…you never know what to expect…excitement and mystery around every turn…I like this style of book…where’s the movies?

Wild ride

Definitely gonna go down as one of my favorites. I loved the format!!!!!! amazing a wild ride is all I can say just when I thought I knew who did it I didn’t!

Certainly worth the time. An entertaining collection of short stories. All pretty cavalier about murder.

Twisted Sister

At times it was so hard to tell, if the Maggie in the first story was the same throughout the different short stories. However, as people grow and change so do the interpretations of that person. In short every character had a different encounter with her so their perception of her was different.
The constants that seem to run throughout the characters life was that she took whatever she wanted regardless of who it hurt or who's life it disrupted.
Also, she was not afraid to lie cheat ,gaslight or kill whomever she needed to in order to protect herself.
She was completely unethical in regards to gathering subjects for her books.
in short a devastatingly awful human being with a license to play around in your head and virtually never held accountable for it

Love how Twisted and Intertwined

The Title is so apt of a description. A lot of little stories all twisted together to explain that blood & glue isn’t always what holds a community together, sometimes it’s Secrets, The Sharing, The Keeping, The Undoing …The motivations may be many, the victims unexpected, but the real surprise is who makes it out Alive…Enjoy the Read! I certainly did..it’s not a heavy read, even though it is murder on the half shell and everyone seems to be hangry and wants their own ser

Not bad. Not terrific either.

I suppose it was an enjoyable listen. Certainly not deep. Maybe a little cartoonish. What I liked was that different writers wrote segments to create an interrelated whole. And in that respect, it worked well. Characters crossed over between separate stories, and all came together at the end.

Taking it that far and the character not falling apart.

Women facing situations and still pushing forward despite “what was the right thing to do” thoughts. Loved women of all ages facing HUGE choices.

What an absolute roller coaster

I’m going to leave a pointer for any new listeners or readers because it might be confusing at first like it was for me. This book centers around a woman’s book club and each chapter explores the life and psyche of each individual woman. They all have one things in common: they’re bat shit crazy, murderous and twisted. All of their stories over lap one another and everything is connected. So, when you listen, just keep that in mind. The pieces will fall together over time. I thought it was a pretty unique and entertaining as hell. The Afterward at the very end confused me though. They make it seem as though the book is based off true events but it’s not. I have no idea what that’s all about but.. it’s a solid listen. Just press play already
