Beautiful and charming

My first Nia Forrester novel - I extremely enjoyed everything about Ryann and Spencer’s rollercoaster relationship! Narrators sounded like the character’s voices that I would have suspected to hear. Loved the beautiful way they stepped up for each other and the happy ending…both characters won!!

Excellent love lesson story!!!

So sweet that Spencer’s character was enduring, patient, and protective! In turn Ryan learns to show up in the same way for Spencer when he needed her. Excellent writing!!!

Love a good cat and mouse game

The story and undertone of the characters drew me in and I couldn’t stop. It was such a good story and realistic show of trauma, hurt and love.

This story was very well written and had a very subject matters that made the listener feel. Very much enjoyed this listen. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Loved It!

First off, let me start by saying out LOUD - Nia Forrester is one of my favorite authors.... Hands Down! The book had me in all the feelings. I really loved how the characters developed throughout the story and you got to see their weakness and strengths. I especially love the way the MFC was portrayed. At first you think Ryann is not a nice person (side eye), but, as the story goes you gets to understand that she is really just guarded like most black women are. And Spencer.... Lord have mercy, this dude brought the pressure. Great story, totally worth the credit. The narrators were great too.
