But in life, nothing worth having is ever easy to embrace. And as if all of this potential readjustment isn’t enough to stress my edges off, I cross paths with a man who is as fine as anything God ever created, but is off limits because beautiful things usually are.

Enter Michael Thompson III, a brother who talks to dogs and wants to prove to me that he’s not one himself when a few chance encounters with my crazy behind prove to be more than he can ignore.

I almost choked I laughed so hard!

I have been waiting for another book from Sabrina B Scales and she DID NOT disappoint.

Freakin hilarious!

All the reviews I read talked about how funny this book was but never could I have imagined I would be literally laughing out loud and nearly spitting out my water while listening. And the narrators took it to another level! Smart, witty and engaging. My first time reading anything by this author — excited to dive into more of her work.

love and humor

Sometimes you have to laugh through the pain. When I say that Leslie was the hilarious BFF that you didn't know you needed, I mean that. Michael was that guy. Sometimes you need a partner who is just as crazy as you are. I highly recommend this book because some reads are just good for the soul!

Short….. sweet…..and to the point. A good listen with a little laughter too keep your attention

Took awhile for me to get into it. It was very different fm other stories I’ve read but once I caught on it was so good! Ofc the humor was the cherry on top!
