And me? I'm a small-town girl with a class of fifth graders, only in LA for a few more nights. So you could imagine my answer when he asks, "Wanna come back to the room with me?"

Annoying main female character

Julius sought her out, pursued her, offered her a real life, and loved on her. And yet, he apologized when SHE couldn’t make a decision about their relationship. Imani was infuriating. He could’ve done WAY better. It was difficult getting through this story. A thirsty man AIN’T sexy At All. The narrators were great.

Story was ok fmc was irritating

The FMC irritated me sooo bad! Like girl, do you not notice this good man trying to love you!! And he kept apologizing when he wasn’t even the one at fault for the sabotage of the relationship. I lowkey wanted him to say screw this and make her come running after him. I wanted to stop listening but I’m no quitter 😆

Almost didn't finish

I almost didn't finish because the FMC was so exhausting, and the male narrator really didn't do it for me. Like girl this man is trying to love you, doing things he has never done with a women. She just really irritated my spirit with her indecisiveness.

Good Read

Imani’s weak spirit and low confident nature was on my last nerve. I hated how her independence made her feel as if she had to choose her fake happiness, over working through true feelings. She chose misery the whole story , Jules was a great exception!

Cute Read!

This was a cute read. I got this book because of the narrators. This was my first time reading something by this author. I loved the story and the HEA.
