I loved hearing more about Helmers life!

I am an avid Green Ember fan. I've read the green ember series, the green ember archer series, and the tales of old Natatila. S.d. Smith does a wonderful job of bringing readers into the world of Natalia. I love this book and all his others. I can't wait to read more of the lost tales.

I loved the story overall! Can not wait for the sequel! The only thing I thought they should change is I think it should’ve been longer! But overall, it was one of the best green, ember books of them all!!

I was hoping for another story/ stories after the end, whether before the end or after. This was wonderful.

I was upset that he didn't finish the first story(or either, for that matter), but it was very good. I do hope the conclusion will come out soon, and that there will be one. His story reading was a bit too dramatic for me, but not bad at the voices. I loved the the twist about Helmer's son - it almost redeemed him killing my favorite character. It reaffirmed whatI had felt all along about the two. Overall, I think it was a wonderful book and worth the credit I spent to get it.

I loved it!

This is a perfect Green Ember story, It was probably my favorite out of all the Green Ember books! It's got action with the best Green Ember characters- Jo, Picket, Heather, and Helmer! I would definitely recommend this book for every one.

Pretty Good!

I really like the Green Ember stories, but it would be cool if Mr Smith, Joel Clarkson, and Eric Frituz all narrated it together. other than that, Green Ember 4 Eva!

another amazing book!

I have read all of the Green Ember books, so when I heard that the Lost Key was out I knew I had to read it . S. D. Smith is such an amazing author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well!

That Picket was Helmers son

I dislike how Whitle and Sween kidnapped Picket from Helmer and how helmer never got to know that Picket was his son

it is so sweet and hart worming as a green ember intestines I would call it a must read.

Good, but…

The Green Ember series is fantastic - a great story with numerous life-lessons. I thoroughly enjoyed the original series including the performance. And, though I don’t want to seem overly critical, I think that the performance in these short stories, especially the Lost Key, we’re not quite up to the level of that in the original series. It’s still worth a listen, but I won’t be repeating it again like I have and will continue to do with the original 4 books.
