Fitting In

This was somewhat painful to listen to, but I’ve witnessed situations like this where the person just wants to fit & they are grateful for what they think is acceptance. Didn’t see the twist at the end!

Such a satisfying ending

I found this book while it was a daily deal and now I want to read all of Gregory's books. The ending wasn't at all what I expected, it was better.

The Ending, Though

It was okay. A lot of repetition. I was especially disappointed with the ending. Great narrator.

Not her best novel

Long story short: everybody was kind of a monster and they were all nodding a lot :-). Seriously, that word was in like every second sentence, very irritating. I really like Philippa Gregory, but this was not even close to as good as her historical novels.

I’ve never disliked characters more!

I have loads of books in my library and rarely write a review. I do so enjoy Philippa Gregory books! Although, this one was hard for me to finish. I’ve never disliked characters more!
