Buckle in, folks!
Duane Swierczynski is truly one of the most creative, interesting, and gifted authors out there. I have never come close to being disappointed by one of his books. In fact, quite the opposite. Despite knowing how good he is, I'm continually surprised (in a great way) by his twists and turns as I listen to/read his work. CALIFORNIA BEAR is no exception. It is simply excellent.

Unbelievably Good
CALIFORNIA BEAR is unbelievably good storytelling. The connection that Duane Swierczynski has here is something so strong, it’s not going to leave you for some time. All the narration is exceptional, especially by “the girl detective.”
