An Intense Read
Caroline Mitchell does not disappoint. This psychological thriller will grip you and not let go. Selkie Island is a place with a history and secrets. When Claire and Daniel move there the secrets begin to come to light. Will Claire uncover the truth before it destroys her family. An intense read/listen that will keep you guessing until the last word.

Well played awesome twist!
Even though the twist is really great, it seemed to me this story was stuck due to the content and perpetual waiting for the big reveal. It’s difficult for me to finish a book/audio with so much repetition. I can understand now why the author felt it might be necessary but it just kept me from connecting and committing to the characters. There was potential for so much more.
Narration was good with the different accents but emotional range was limited.

Great book excellent narration
I love Caroline Mitchell’s books. There’s a certain twist to them that we as readers don’t expect.
She slowly unravels the mystery bit by bit, keeping you glued to the book. When the story is finished, & we know what really happened on that island, the truth is exposed. That is when we find out who the wayward people that lived in that house really were! The narrator does a great job also.
