Did Not Like Elle

First, I want to address all the ☆☆☆☆☆ reviews that didn't like the storyline. If you don't like a story don't give it a high review.
I hated many actions of the protagonist, she was very self righteous and selfish. There is absolutely no price too much to pay fot the situation she was in. She constantly put her needs above the childrens.
An amazingly high number of people were upset because the book had real life in it. The book does get heavy, it's not a cut and paste romance. The author absolutely does not deserve ther vitriol she recieved. It's a beautifully written book about everything going wrong yet orbiting⁸

Get ready with a box tissues. I really did like the story and performance. It’s a good one!

Didn't expect to cry that much!

This book was perfect! So many emotions flowing! I was truely taken by suprise on how it turned out!

Emotional Journey!

Wow. I’ve been in a bit of a book rut lately, but this book was exactly what I needed to pull me out. Warning: if you don’t enjoy having a good cry- this book may not be for you. With that being said, don’t worry, there is still a HEA.

Just speechless

It's been a long time since I've read a book that has gutted me so completely like this one did.
I listened to it on audio which I think magnified all of my feelings.
How does it never fail that the most gut-wrenching parts of the audio book happen on my way to work?
The audio book was fantastic. Two very quality narrators that made this an experience rather than just a story being told.
From the blurb, you see that this is a story of a single mom raising twins and has faced more tragedy than a person should endure. I can't understand how some people wind up with all the bad luck, but it does. Ella is a fierce, strong heroine. Beckett comes to help her out as her brother's dying wish. Now, I hate for this to be vague but it's for the best. There is so much stuff that happens during this story that you better buckle right up. As much as I sort of cursed the author, I reveled in the brilliance of her writing. Suspense, twists, emotions. I haven't felt so completely shattered in such a long time.

Beautiful Story

Amazing story, love the twins, they were both strong, smart, charismatic kids. The battle that the little girl had to go through to beat cancer was heartbreaking, but at the end fate had other plans. The love story between the 2 main characters was amazing, they had a lot of chemistry, passion and unconditional love. This book had me laughing, crying, hope-full.

grab your tissues and prepare your heart strings as this story takes you on a wild ride, it's absolutely brilliant , heart wrenching, narration is fabulous !!!! you will need tissues!!!! this is a killer book!!

Fantastic Novel!!

One of the most amazing novels I have read/listened to. Fantastic story, great twists with heart breaking lessons and ending.

Have your tissue ready

So struggling with this one, great story but dang the heart break in this story is killing me! Could really used a trigger warning for cancer, PTSD and death. Definitely have your tissues handy.
