Publisher's summary

It's love against revenge in the highly anticipated conclusion of Lisa Suzanne's number-one best-selling rock star romance series.

One decision was all it took for Ethan Fuller's life to be flipped upside down and for Maci Dane's 20-year plan to fall off the rails.

Ethan tells Maci about the invisible thread that links two people destined to be together. The road isn't always smooth, but eventually, the two people holding the thread will find their way to each other.

They found their way together, yet they keep finding themselves apart. Mistake after mistake, lie after lie, grudge after grudge...it may be too much for two people to overcome.

Are Maci and Ethan tied by the invisible thread, or will their thread break before they can find their way to happiness?

Contains mature themes.

The invisible Thread Book 2 by Lisa Suzanne

The duet, The Invisible Thread, and The Power to Break written by Lisa Suzanne are spectacular books meant to be read repeatedly, which I shamelessly have done.
The past snaked into the present where Ethan and Maci entangled in a death grip that almost destroyed them both. The threads are connections between Ethan and Maci that waned and ebbed over time as they encountered each other. The story begins in high school with Ethan, a new drummer for the rock group Vail and Maci, a girl who loved singing who had a crush on him. A carelessly spoken remark by Ethan to Mark overheard by Maci, (Daniella, her birth name) destroyed her to the point that it forever changed her life. She wanted revenge so bad, that become her purpose for living. How this revenge plays out by Maci for Ethan has far-reaching effects that have the power to break them both. The twists and turns that were interwoven in the book had my mouth hanging open one minute and gnashing my teeth the next. This is a book where every single line was written by Lisa Suzanne so completely is needed to understand the emotions of Ethan and Maci. I cried I laughed, I wanted to throw my kindle and tell them “no…..please don’t do that!”. Silly characters didn’t listen to me. This book will pull you through a gamut of emotions as you journey through the story. I had both books to read and listen to audible straight through to the epilogue. The audiobook was superior in being able to reflect what was written in the book. I loved listening to the story and do always have the audio playing as I follow along and read.

Unsatisfied ending

I high hope that this story was going to end well. It took almost the entire story for the main characters to get together. Their story drag and drag and never really get to the point. I borrowed this from Audible Plus. Thank goodness for that. The performance was very good but wish the story was better.
