Publisher's Summary

The Human Magnet Syndrome: The Codependent Narcissist Trap is a complete rewrite of Ross's first book. Ross provides a more explicit rendering of The Human Magnet Syndrome, that includes new theories, explanations, and concepts. The information on Gaslighting and The Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome, like the rest of the information, is cutting edge and completely original. This audiobook contains many more case examples and stories of Ross's own codependency recovery. Like its predecessor, it is written for both the layman and professional. Men and women have been magnetically and irresistibly drawn together into romantic relationships, not so much by what they see, feel and think, but more by invisible forces.

Codependents and pathological narcissists are enveloped in a seductive dreamlike state; however, it will later unfold into a painful “seesaw” of love, pain, hope, and disappointment. The soul mate of the codependent's dreams will become the narcissist of their nightmares. Fans of The Human Magnet Syndrome will better understand why they, despite their dreams for true love, find themselves hopelessly and painfully in love with partners who hurt them.

I was enjoying Ross Rosenberg s explanations and writing style but unfortunately it stopped at chapter 7 . This was very frustrating

Love this book....

What made the experience of listening to The Human Magnet Syndrome the most enjoyable?

I love the voice of the Narrator and the information is PRICELESS! Thank you Ross Rosenberg for writing this book!

What did you learn from The Human Magnet Syndrome that you would use in your daily life?

How to retrain my 'human magnet' and how to make sure my child has a 'healthy magnet' now and in his future!

Great but not what I expected.

The most helpful material I could find. It lacks the detailed instructions of how to go through the ten steps of recovery. I waited the whole book to get it but it was so brief. I still benefitted so much. Thank you Ross.

Can’t wait for his next book!

As a daughter, who was raised by a narcissist mother, and whose son has a narcissistic father, this book was a Godsend for understanding ourselves and our lives. Becoming self love abundant is the only cure, as Ross Rosenberg so clearly teaches us in this wonderful book.

Expected more

Although this book brilliantly presents codepency and narcissism, (which can also be found with a proper Google Search) it does not provide a solution, instead, it directs the reader to another of the author's books which hasn't been written yet.

In my opinion, if you are looking for guidance on how to go about healing yourself (in the event that therapy isn't financially affordable) and get away from your abuser, this is the wrong book.

unreadable .<br />

Toss totally disregard or ( don't care ) readers by putting all those terms. I find Ross a bit self centred.
