This series just gets better with every title.

Great story and performance. Loved this story, definitely a few twists and turns. Mr. Beach just gets better and better, I wish this series could go on and on.

I am new to Landon Beach and I have enjoyed each story. Love Scott Bricks narrations of each. On to the next in the Saga

Good reads/listening.

Too much! And sadly too little.

Too much everything. Too many characters needlessly introduced, descriptive passages of little relevance to the story. Main characters were intriguing and well developed but I was left wishing the author paid more attention to their plot lines. The story quickly became a mafia saga with so many names and detailed roosters of crime families that meant nothing to the story that I was tempted to skip to the end. The ending was pretty awful with the characters making such silly / stupid decisions it was actually annoying and wholly unbelievable. This is not my first book by Beach and I have mostly enjoyed his others but I'll hesitate to purchase another. As usual, Scott Brick was a pleasure to listen to and saved the booked.

WOW, NOT MUCH MORE TO SAY THAN OTHERS, EXCEPT THAT MR. BEACH HAS REALLY UPPED HIS GAME WITH THIS LATEST BOOK!!!! I ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY READ ESPIONAGE AND ACTION THRILLERS, MY AUDIBLE LIBRARY CONTAINING CLOSE TO A THOUSAND TITLES. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THIS BOOK RANKS HIGH UP, JUST UNDER AUTHORS LIKE VINCE FLYNN, TOM WOOD AND MARK GREANEY! THE ONLY "COMPLAINT " I CAN THINK OF IS THE NAMES OF ALL THE MAFIA CREW GOT A LITTLE CONFUSING FOR ME, KEEPING THEM ALL STRAIGHT IN MY MIND. IT'S NOT A HUGE DEAL TO ME AND I DEF WON'T TAKE A STAR OFF. I GIVE THIS BOOK A VERY SOLID 5 STARS AND MIGHT GIVE MORE IF I COULD!

Great read

Well done. Will definitely check out his other works. This book is in a series, but stands alone nicely.

From two brothers with complicated lives to major crime lives all entwined.

I thought this book was going to be about two brothers hacking the Appalachian Trail. A trip that they trained for and would take 7 months. I should have know this author would lead me through an intriguing path involving organized crime. And the Mafia.
I am so interested in this author I have to read more of his books.

Hard to follow

Story was very choppy and did not flow. Was very confused by the storyline until about three quarters through. I was very disappointed because I loved the other books.

Riveting Thriller Masterfully Narrated

This was my second book in the Great Lakes saga and by this author. This is a fantastic series by a talented author. This book was thrilling, heartbreaking, wonderful and thought provoking. It is the journey of a family's black sheep, who sinks into addiction and finds... You will have to read and listen to find out. A man trying to understand his brother, a former diver turned private investigator, the mob and the FBI. What an incredible mix and a thrilling story. Immersive characterization, action and a strong plot drive this thriller. Author Beach never loses sight that people are the focus and had me rooting for heroes and hating bad guys. A thrilling book and I will be reading and listening (Scott Brick does a masterful job on narration) to the other books in this series.

Great Lake stories! Great info about the area ! Definitely a fan! Being from Louisiana this is very enlightening!!
