This beautiful story has changed my life! Brought precious simplicity to my longing to love God and others with my entire being. Just to BE with Jesus by Holy Spirit, daily fellowship that produces an overflow and joy to share with others the goodness and salvation plan that we were created for. Communion with our Heavenly Father. Tangibly experiencing His love and feeling His presence, as His beloved daughter. My home is now a place where lives are changed because God IS REAL!

This is a life changing view on prayer and opening yourself to be used by God. This is a book I will be reading at least yearly.

Encouraging book

A very encouraging book, the message is excellent. I would recommend it. The reader is fine. However, be warned if you are Welsh speaking or from Wales you will start shouting the correct pronunciation to the Welsh names by the end and this does detract from the message a little.

A reminder of the Early Church in Acts

It is both challenging and inspiring. Stable food for the journey for anyone who is committed to living a Christian way of life.

Awesome Book

I was a bit dubious about this title having 5 Stars until I listened. I can confirm that this is easily one of the best creds spent on an audiobook.

I like to follow the trends of what God is doing in our world & this book is packed with loads of stories about that. The book is beautiful written & narrated. Next thing is for me to actually visit the place for a retreat

challenging to get through but "challenging" also

Great ending and exceptionally challenging to commited Christians wanting to be stretched. I found it distraction though trying to assess the theology of Roy Godwin. As a Calvinist and cautious continuist I found myself heresy hunting at a number of points. I don't doubt Roy's love of Christ and his desire to proclaim him to all peoples.

But terms like "thin spaces", his overt affection for Celtic christianity and perception of the importance of physical space rather than the people occupying the area makes he highly suspicious that we are treading dangerously towards a paganisation of Christianity.

Over all I think he is essentially sound doctrinally but some of these terms used may put other off, ultimately it's worth working through. loved chapter 12, still thinking about it.
