Not your average ghost story

This book is great, I enjoyed it very much! My daughter and I were both hooked on it.

Beautifully Spooky

I loved the fact on how the ending was.Its was a shocking but cool and supreme of wonders.I would recommend maybe youth age(5th grade and up).
I am in awe of the book and recommended this book to some of my other friends.Love it !

LITERARY GOLD HAS BEEN STRUCK

I've been keeping up with Mary Downing Hahn's books for a VERY long time, ever since I became an avid reader of hers around 2005. This book may be short, but it reminded me of why exactly I wanted to be a writer at the age of 8. if you enjoyed Wait till Helen comes, as I did as a child, you will adore this book. it's short, sweet, and the creative writing style is Top Notch. buy it. read it. never look back.

Great YA Book

Mary Downing Hahn is one of my favorite children's authors. She's one of only a few who write this genre for elementary school age kids and she does an outstanding job. I bought this book for my grand-daughter for Christmas and listened to it so I would be able to discuss it with her. It was much more graphic than her previous books and bordered on "thriller", not just scary. As expected, it was a great book but I would only recommend this book for 7th grade and up.

Good for the age it was intended

This was a nice heart warming ghost story clearly made for teenagers. I was expecting something more my age so I shall continue to look elsewhere. It was a good story, but very simple.

The Girl In the locked Room was such an amazing book for 5 reasons. Number one its and amazing book for someone who loves scary and spooky stories or movies. Number two it was very interesting when you find out why the girl is locked in the room. Number three it was the perfect amount of scariness and mystery which is great for anyone who loves a good amount of scary and mystery. Number four it was a perfect amount of hardness and easiness.
Lastly number five it was overall a quick and enjoyable book to read.
