Short, sweet, and packs a punch!

I'm officially a Celina Myers book fan! This story was familiar but so original.The diary entries towards the end tied the plot together beautifully. Even so I was not expecting the shocking ending but I loved it! Celina Myers narrated this perfectly and I'm excited to listen to her other books!

Chilling!!

I just had to set aside time to listen to this straight through. I couldn’t turn my attention away. I love thrillers, and Celina really did a great job hitting the general vibe of a great thriller book. Her descriptiveness puts you right there in the scene and I just enjoyed this story so much. Celina has a real knack for this genre. I also love that she narrates her books too! :)

Great short novel

The story was engaging and kept me interested. it would be a cool starting point for a movie. I like that it kept focus on the main character and solpooky house and didn't drop down to a romance.

Modest Author

I am impressed at the author's ability to narrate in an ominous voice. She uses appropriate language, which is a plus, and mature. Very spooky, especially with the first apparition in the mirror. Now I've listened to The Haunting of Hill House, Hell House, A Winter Haunting, 12 Nights at Rotter House, etc... and I had my doubts about this one at first. But I'm honestly impressed. Subtle, creepy, descriptive of House. I can say she is good like Richard Matherson, or Dean Koontz, or Peter Straub, or Dan Simmons. Not quite Shirley Jackson or Poe, but definitely walking among the heavyweights in the hauntings genre.

Suspenseful

Amazing and plot twisting. I love Celina’s work and hope to hear more of her works.
