This short book was full of pathos. I like Native American settings/characters, especially when the theme of injustice is part of the plot. This one will break your heart.

Excellent mystery novella

This is a hard length for a mystery of this type. All the clues need to be there, but there’s not much room for red herrings. Gregg Olsen balanced it well.

Lots of character backstory in a small package, with a fully developed cold case, and a satisfying ending. Well done!

excellent story but one of the saddest I've read.

very good story, with bit of a surprise twist at the end.
Very sad ending, but we'll worth the listen. Have listened to the first two full length books in the series but they not as good as this one.

Great series beginning!

The story pulled me in right from the beginning and held me there. Interesting and suspenseful. Excellent narrator as well.

I thought it was a fun and easy listen, the story kept me engaged. Not one of those books that I would listen to over and over again, but good to hear once.

I feel like I was swindled. the info said the book was over 9 hours and it was really less than 4

Well woven tale. Characters developed rather well in short order. As a reader, could feel insight into people as story unfolded. Satisfying ending.

performance perfection!

I loved the narration! the cadence of accents. the story was so well written, together, it brought the tale to life perfectly.
l am amazed at how, although it's a short story, it feels rich and layered and as deeply satisfying. as a full length novel. would love to here more from this character's cases in the future.
