Unique tale of multi-generational Evil
Exquisitely written in the classic high handed British style. Ashforth is a deft dealer in Creeping Dread. He leaves the worst to your imagination, which is always best. You’ll definitely think of your assurance agent different post this read.

Short story
It was a very short story. I was surprised when it ended. I didn’t look at the length of it though when I started listening. I thought that it would go into detail about the current owner but it left the reader hanging. The narrators did a good job and were a good fit for that story. I would not use a full credit on this book but I bought it as a daily deal so it was fine.

Excellent short story with great narration
This was an unexpected surprise purchased during one of audibles sales. It’s a short tale that keeps your interest without boring back story that no one cares about.

Very good voice acting NOT a very good story
The readings were excellent. More like acting than just narrating. Unfortunately it was in the service of a story that was neither thrilling, heartstopping or even horrifying. Unlikeable and unrelatable characters. The plot jumping through time does nothing to enhance the story. The monsters aren't even that interesting. Would not recommend.

Haunted History of Church Farm House
This is another great collection from the author. Four interconnected tales relating to the same location in the classic style of gothic horror without the gore. Eerie and mysterious, a great short read that is even better on audio with four excellent narrators. A great spooky scare.

Worth the buck I spent
There were some pretty good stories and the narrator was wonderful. It was a good break between regular novels, espionage for $1
