Love Gingerbread!
Everything I love about Kim Turner's writing it packed in this warm, holiday story. Hannah is a widow with two children, working hard and trying to get by. Lately, things around the house are being done for her, and her adorable daughter told her it's the Gingerbread Man. John has been helping her out, and by chance they finally meet. Who thought it would bring both the love and happiness they deserve? Hannah is a strong woman, raising her children to be respectable and responsible. John has found his second chance at love, and now given it, he is going in! But this is the old West, and nothing is ever without a little danger! Turner gives us some suspense, some romance and a look back when times are simpler. I love this story, the cookies, the Gingerbread Man, the way livelihoods are earned and food is put on the table. It's real and heart warming. Love this novella!
Dawson McBride tells us this story with his easy pace and phenomenal voices. I could listen to him all day as he is a consummate storyteller. He easily gives us Hannah and John, then switches to the kid voices with such ease, it's like a movie. This is a great listen!

The gingerbread man
Loved this story. Heart warming and a great story for the holidays. I always enjoy Dawson McBride as a narrator and love this author who always captures and retained my attention. A must read or listen

I love the men of Wylder Wyoming!
I thought the hero was tough, sweet, and gallant! He is my kind of guy and sort of like the Sweetheart that I married! I felt warm and satisfied listening to this book. The narrator, Dawson McBride, has the perfect cowboy voice. His voice keeps it sounding real throughout the story. I'll keep reading Ms. Turner's books as long as she keeps writing them! I've read them all and liked every one of them.
