A really good story. Kept me guessing. I really like this author and look forward to more!

4.5 Stars!!! A Twisty, Thoughtful Thriller

The Ghostwriter by Julie Clark was top notch, well paced, expressive, and immersive. This book was billed as The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo… but with murder and it absolutely delivered on that promise.

From the start, I thought I had it figured out. I was sure I knew where it was going. But I couldn’t have been more wrong in the best possible way. The plot is layered and clever, with emotional depth and just the right amount of glamour and suspense. Clark weaves fame, secrets, and betrayal into a tightly plotted story that kept me engaged the whole way through.

This is one of those books that sticks with you. I’ll be thinking about it for a while. Highly recommend.

Great mystery story

I really enjoyed the characters both the dead and alive ones. Especially Poppy. The story definitely kept me engaged with all the mystery in it.

Excellent book!

Loved the pace and twists of this book. The narrator was perfect and I could not stop listening. Highly recommended!
