AMAZING!!!
This is - BAR NONE - the BEST SUSPENSE novel I have ever listened to! I mention "listened to" because we all know a great book can be even better by a great narrator and vice-versa - poor narration can distract or ruin what held great promise.Sarah Naughton did a fantastic job! You are always clear on which character is speaking, pulling off 3 males with aplomb along with 2 females and a child. Perfect tone changes:fear,haughtiness,snarky, etc all executed flawlessly. By the end you're wishing you could take the bad guy out yourself! The story is GREAT, really great. We were driving home the long way several times just to find out if.... (no spoilers from me!).In the beginning, it does "seem" a little slow but Be Patient!Ground-work is being laid and you'll be glad for it later on. I am immediately going to buy another one of Taylor Adams' books and I sincerely hope it has the same narrator! (p.s. to the critic who said it was unrealistic to not be freezing,the disruption of air-movement allows one to stay warm longer and if you had listened longer, you'd know the source :-)

Edge of your seat page turner from the very start!

Entertaining
This isn't a great novel by any means. However, it's entertaining enough and an easy listen bc you don't really have to focus on the plot.
It could have been shorter though. I ended up speeding it up for the last 2 hours to get to the end.
Probably won't listen to it again because the entertainment is mostly in the suspense of the whole thing and wouldn't be nearly as suspenseful a second time around.
Fun if you're looking for an easy listen.
