I chose this book for the vast and researched information following listening to Lisa’s Fertility Fridays podcast. It did not disappoint. It filled in the gaps I needed to understand my body and reduced the fear about being older trying to conceive. Between the podcast and the book it’s been 2.5 months eating healthy (even liver 😉) and today I got my first positive pregnancy test. I know it’s early but now I believe it’s possible for me to become pregnant where before I doubted it. This book is for people who are willing to listen to the research, track signs and symptoms, and change their eating habits. Again, thank you!

Amazing information for ALL women!
I cannot believe we are not taught this information about our bodies. I’ve learned SO much from this book and am already applying it in my life (preconception health, using FAM to prevent pregnancy instead of dangerous pills, and then to conceive baby #2 when we are ready). I used some of these concepts in tracking to conceive our daughter and we conceived on the first try - it’s amazing what knowing your body does for your health.

This book. I cannot say good enough things. Lisa does a simply incredible job and presenting the evidence-based science behind fertility, women’s reproductive health, hormonal contraception, and menstruation. A book every girl and woman should read
Lisa managed to digest the last century of material on fertility and the “period” and it is the best knowledge a young or any woman can have. The fertility awareness and all other insights in the book, like how to identify health problems through your chart, should be mainstream- every parent, school and gp should know about it. I will be buying a copy of this book. It is so full of important information. I've been a big fan of the Fertility Friday podcast for a while - so glad there's now a book too! And having Lisa read it was extra awesome.

I have been raving about this book to everyone who will listen. Eye opening, shocking and backed by science. A must read for anyone who has a uterus and DEFINITELY if you use hormonal contraception
