Love Connor’s narration!

Great book and a great hockey romance story! I think I like it more than book 1.

One of my all time favs

Rory miller. He is everything. And Connor Chase did such a fantastic time narrating him. I love everything about this book

Narration was bad

Audiobooks are my every day thing some people listen to music every day but I listen to books…the female narrator was a huge turn off the entire book she sounded like she was going to cry…the voice she used for other female characters was better than the one for her as the lead. Honestly almost gave up listening because of how much of an ick her voice was but I really enjoyed story. If you are going to get this book definitely listen to the sample before investing.

Audio Review - Connor & Kit

The book is amazing I love these two characters. The banter and dialogue was very entertaining. I’m not someone who laughs easily and this book surprised me.

Connor Crais is a perfect Rory, or at least how I imagined him. His deep voice was breathtaking.

Kit Swann is a new narrator for me. Her voice is very mature, and initially a bit shakey (in my opinion). Her voice comes from her nose a bit and I really struggled with that. The voice didn’t match Hazel for me, as she sounded older. Initially I skipped all her audio chapters and read them while only playing Rory’s. Halfway through the audio book I gave it another listen and either she gains a bit more voice control or my ear attuned to her but it was good after that.

Overall Kit is a very good narrator and I look forward to hearing how she is paired with future characters.

Surprised

Way cuter than I thought it would be but exactly what I was hoping for.

Disappointed

I really like this author and truly enjoyed the book. The audio book was kind of a let down. Kit is a new narrator to me and I was okay with her for the first half. But by 3/4 through, I was fast forwarding through her parts. She always sounded 2 seconds away from crying or having a nervous breakdown. Disappointing. Connor as always hit the spot. Can’t go wrong with him.

Once again, Stephanie didn’t disappoint! This series is a must read. Can’t wait until she releases more!

Fierce Protectiveness is Sexy!

I love when a FMC is just as fiercely protective of their MMC as when the MMC is fiercely protective of the FMC. These two headstrong people falling for each other or allowing themselves to fall for each other was a treat to listen to. I loved both characters and their way of being independent but also a collective. It was so hot at part I was literally fanning myself. 🥵🫠 such a great addition to the first book and can’t wait for the 3rd if there is one coming.

absolutely adorable and worth the credit

I loved this book. it was so cute, but also very spicy. great story. no 3rd act breakup. I wasn't sure about the female narrator but after a couple chapters I started really liking her. Conner Crais is perfect and I'm in love with him lol. they were perfect for these characters. I do wish there was more conflict with the ex, but otherwise i highly recommend.

“I’m keeping you, Rory Miller”

This is BY FAR the best book Stephanie has written (and all of her books are 5 star reads to me). The way she writes obsessed men is just incredible. Hazel is so relatable and funny, and the way Rory supports and encourages her was too sweet. And the audiobook?! Dear lord. Kitt Swan and Connor Crais in duet?! It was the best experience of my life. I love Hazel and Rory’s love SO much.
