Extinction End

Almost seven weeks have passed since the Hemorrhage Virus ravaged the world. The remnants of the United States military have regrouped and relocated Central Command to the George Washington Carrier Strike Group. It's here, in the North Atlantic, that President Jan Ringgold and Vice President George Johnson prepare to deploy a new bioweapon and embark on the final mission to take back the country from the Variants.

With his home gone and his friends kidnapped, Master Sergeant Reed Beckham and his remaining men must take drastic measures to save what's left of the human race. But not everyone at Central Command has the same plan for victory. As the Variants continue to evolve, only a handful of heroes stand between the creatures and mankind's total extinction.

One way or another, the battle for the United States of America ends here.

Extinction Aftermath

Newly christened as the leader of Delta Force Team Ghost, Master Sergeant Joe Fitzpatrick arrives in Normandy over 70 years after Allied Forces joined the fight against the Nazis. The war to free survivors and eradicate pockets of adult Variants and their offspring is underway by the European Unified Forces. But as the troops push east, rumors of a new type of monster spread through the ranks. Fitz and his new team quickly realize that the fight for Europe might be harder than anyone ever imagined.

Back in the States, Captain Reed Beckham and Dr. Kate Lovato are settling into a new life on Plum Island. Across the United States, the adult Variants have all been wiped out, and the juveniles are on the run. But survivors soon realize there are other monsters at home, and they may be human.

As the doomsday clock ticks down and military bases fall across the country, the human race enters the age of extinction. Will science prevail - or will mankind vanish off the face of the planet?

As good as the Arisen series by Michael S Fuchs

great story As good and same caliber as that of Arisen series! great characters and always 9n the edge of your seat!

Great Story Line

I like Sansbury Smith unique story lines. Combined with one of the best narrators (Bronson Pinchot) and you have a five star ratings across the board.

Great Series!

Awesome series! I read the first few and had been trying to find the rest.

A strong continuation of the series!

Smith's "Extinction Cycle" is the gift that keeps on giving.

I burned through the first 3 books in the box set and purchased the 2nd box set before I was done... Each book gives more action and entertainment than the one before. He (Smith) builds upon his previous works without getting bogged down by giving us new challenges, new enemies, new variants! And then, when you think it's all safe and good - we get even more!

Bronson Pinchot is a fantastic narrator. He reads the characters and the scenes so well that it's impossible to NOT enjoy his performance.

If you like a story that continues to grow with action, consequences, and everything in between - get this. Book 7 is out (as well as a book 6.5 which I'll also be picking up) and I can't wait to follow Team Ghost into more fights against the variants!

Also - If you haven't done so yet - pick up Hell Divers by Nicholas Sansbury Smith as well. It's more of the same - but completely different! If you like The Extinction Cycle - You'll LOVE Hell Divers.

Absolutely loved this story it flew by very good!! Can not recommend enough and the value is amazing in box set

4-5 Great Six.. not so great

1-5 are fantastic. 6 felt a bit fluffy .. after thought-ish.. the box sets are a good value.

A Fresh Take on the Zombie Apocalypse

A great series about government secrets, super-soldier bio-engineering gone awry, and the fight to survive for the last remaining humans on earth. You’ll want the whole series!

Great Series

long series but very entertaining, theme continued through each book and the story did not get lost.

Pensacola

It make perfect sense that a bunch of insane militants called ROT would stop in my home town of Pensacola in book 6. At first Pensacola was a little different in the book than I remember but hey artistic license there. Great books keep it up. Bronson Pinchot voice action for Woods is chilling to rivaling Anthony Hopkins portrayal of Hannibal Lecter(rated number 1 villain of all time). Lt Davis is a total badass love her.

Amazing book series!

Like with previous books in the series, I have nothing but praise. Great action, story telling, nothing drags on.
