Very surprising.....

I was pleasantly surprised by this listen. I almost thought I made a mistake when I started listening to the book, however, it captured me and I was not disappointed. The narrator was incredible and all emotions were touched.....

I did listen to Book 2 and didn't enjoy as well. To tell you the truth author could have ended it with this book and we all would have been fulfilled.

Loved this book!

This was a great read. Steamy in the right parts but filled with emotion and excitement!

I love the whole story, but the end is the best. A surprise ending is always great.

I was enchanted by both Cameron and Andrew. Learning and the growing of both characters was beautiful.

I cried and cried at the end of this story.

LOVED THE BOOK - HATED THE NARRATOR

Pease check to see if you can stomach the narrator. I usually don't have a problem with the narrorator, but I will never listen to a book by this narrator. It just got worse!!! I don't want her to ruin this great book!!!!

Omg THE FEELS!! What an epic story that starts on the road between NC native Camryn Bennett and Andrew Parrish. She's alone, at risk and direction less. He assumes the role of her protector pretty naturally keeping her safe from preying stalkers. A quick stop at his home, he joins her on a journey to nowhere in his chevelle. What starts on a bus, ends in the car and destination Texas. The journey IS the story here. Their layers unravel, personalities get revealed, secrets and traits shared. Laughing together, driving together and singing at the top of their voices, there's nothing that could go wrong. Right?...WRONG!! Things come to a serious, dramatic end and my heart jumped to my throat Loved the sparkling chemistry of Cam & Andrew, loved their budding relationship with hearts and roses aflutter and then the angst destroyed me. 4 stars for secrets that kill ya!!

ROMANCE SO SIMPLE

What did you like about this audiobook?

I loved that the adventure, the getting to know each other, the relationship and love was so simple, yet so emotional and mesmerizing. This was an amazing tale of two people who only wanted the unpretentious out of life, both searching for something neither knew and finding each other in the process. Makes one believe in fate, both wonderful and not so inviting, but fate nonetheless.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

When Andrew showed Cam his tattoo of Orpheus and Eurydice and explained why the tattoo wasn't finished.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

It took awhile to get used to her narration, but after awhile it got better.

Do you have any additional comments?

This was by far the best romance book I have ever listened to or read. Any story that can make me bawl or make me laugh out loud and still have the elements of romance such as softness, sexual pleasure, and adventure is outstanding. This book had it all for me. J.A. Redmerski, this is my first book of yours; I will try others after I recover from my extreme emotional state. Thank you both, author and narrator.

OMG!!!!

Oh My Gosh!! I just this second finished this story and had to come here for a review. This was a great story with great characters, told in a very different and great way and oh yeah did I say this was great LOL. I LOVED everything about this book. The narration was also, you guessed it, great. I am not in the habit of writing reviews with spoilers and this is no exception, but I will say this much, if you have ever read a book that made you laugh out loud and/or sat with tears streaming down your face unashamedly and when you finished that book you sighed and hoped you find another that will give you that much emotional satisfaction, then you really NEED to get this book. I will listen to this one many times and will look forward to more from this author and narrator. All I can say to finish is Thank you for just a great ride J A Redmerski and Lauren Fortgang!!
