So good…

There is a lot of character development in the beginning, but the characters are so well developed, and interesting, that it’s not a chore to get through. It speeds up quickly and doesn’t slow down. It is reminiscent of early Stephen King. I loved this book. The narration was wonderful. This is horror at its best. Ania Ahlborn is a master! This is my second book of hers and I’m on to my third. I believe I’ve found my new favorite horror writer.

excellent story excellent performance

it was just a really good story with a really truly great performance wasn't the same old same old had lots of suspense and heartfelt situations

It crept in...

At first I didn't like this story. It was slow moving and I wasn't sure where it was going. I ended up really liking the lead boy in the story. Visually very descriptive I could see this as a film. I think this would make a very good horror movie. It's absurd, but then it gets under your skin and if you go along for the ride I think you will enjoy.

ania ahlborn knows how to depress you! in a good way

stephen king says we love horror and all its darkness because afterward the real word Horrors don't seem as bad. ania ahlborns books are a perfect representation of that world view. love her books but because of how depressing they all I only do one every 6 months

Love how it came together

The way it all came together in the end was very well done. This is a great slow burn book
