Great way to get into yoga nidra, but buy hardcopy
This is a great plan for getting into yoga nidra, but it needs to provide the basic instructions via PDF. Many Audible titles come with a PDF but this one does not. I recommend purchasing a physical copy of the book--it will be easier to find the information you need, and you can download the recorded meditations from her website.

fantastic program to honor our design
I've loved this program. I'm on day 36, so I've been through each practice but I have 4 more days of the last. Afterwards I plan on restarting the program, setting new intentions, along with a breathwork challenge. I am currently getting certified in a certain modality of breathwork, writing my own scripts, and I'm about to write a breathwork journey for sleep into which I will work the elements of yoga nidra. Karen's leadership program is on my list for later this year.

Life changing and giving
You will never regret Daring to Rest. It is one of the best books and programs I’ve ever experienced. A book every woman on the planet can benefit from. Karen’s approach is creative, compassionate and totally doable no matter what stage of life you’re in. Daring to Rest teaches you how to receive the nourishment you need to heal and to lead from your heart. It gently and powerfully takes you through a process to a place where you can touch peace and bliss and know these as your own true nature. If you have ever wanted to meditate or struggled with meditation, or even if you love meditation try daring to rest. It is meditation 2.0. And it’s truly the medicine for what ails us in In modern society. At its best it is a path to liberation and unshakable self love.

BEWARE - Chapter 19 - rape story
Please please please, can you put some kind of warning on the audio version of this book that this chapter includes a heartbreaking rape and violent attack story? I only knew about this myself from reading other reviews, but didn’t know which chapter it was. I settled down to relax and listen - in bed - and was suddenly confronted by this. I am a yoga and a nidra teacher - I am also a survivor of rape. This was extremely triggering and I feel it is very irresponsible to not include a warning for listeners.
This is a lovely book and tool, however listeners are coming to this for relaxation and this story is quite unexpected especially when listeners have opened themselves to a receptive state.
