Outstanding

Not only do I greatly admire Trey Gowdy for the gentleman he is, his book is wonderful. The main character reminds me of the writer himself. Minimum violence, no foul language. A really good story of loss and pain, of recovery and doing the right thing. A lot of the story is based on his experience as a prosecutor and how it take a toll on the family. The ending invites book two! I’ll be waiting!

Twists and turns plus the next memory coming

Some of the narrator’s voices were cartoonish. Improperly pronounced appellate, Michelin and other words which was distracting.

This is a complicated story put together with the skill of a South Carolina Solicitor. My home state should be proud of her native son.

A gripping murder mystery with wonderfully developed characters and a smart, engaging plot. Each twist kept me hooked, and the suspense built beautifully until the end. The relationships felt authentic, adding depth beyond the crime. An outstanding listen—the narrator was excellent—I can’t wait for Trey's follow-up!
