I love Donna VanLiere's Christmas books . . . and I love Glory's Place . . . how I wish that every town had one, a safe place for kids that have had more than their share of pain, neglect and abuse. We all need an extra dose of blessing at Christmas, and these books provide that and more. They give us hope and in abundance. Seven year old, Maddie is friends with Gabe at Grandon Elementary. And when Amy starts to volunteer at Glory's Place, Maddie soon becomes friends with Amy, too. The book also continues the story of Lauren and Travis. And the nosy, overbearing Miriam who has offered to buy Lauren's wedding dress, but with many strings attached . . . don't we all have friends like Miriam? In the end it all comes right . . . Another Winner

As always this story hits all the happy buttons for a great heart tugging lovely story. As God weaves all things together for good to those that love Him, Ms Carlson uses her gift from Him to weave together a story that will touch your heart deeply. I have loved this entire series.

Loved this book

I love Donna VanLiere's books and every year when I find out there is a new one I have to read it. I can't believe I went so long without knowing about this one. It was really good. Loved the characters and story line. I especially loved little matchmaker Maddie. She knows what she wants and has set out to get it if possible.

This is the only book by Donna VanLiere that I have listened to on Audible and didn't realize at first that she narrates her own book. It was really good and I just couldn't put it down.

Check it out it won't disappoint you.
