Truly lovely!!!

Fannie Flagg and her books just hit the spot!Especially this one! It reminds me so much of my grandparents and the stories they would tell and how fun it was to go to their house. This is a feel good book! I found myself smiling, and laughing out loud, as I listened. If you loved Fried Green Tomatos, then this is for you!! It catches you up on ALL the characters from it!!! YEAH!!!

In the beginning I wasn’t for sure where the book was going but then I was hooked! Another amazing book by Ms. Flagg; and there better be a follow-up to this book!

I absolutely love this story! I can actually picture in my mind’s eye what these characters and places look like!

great story

I loved everything about this book. the different story lines kept your attention and ready for.the next chapter. The authors narration was the best. It was great to hear what happened to everyone in one of my favorite novels.

Comfort food for your mind

I realized how much I enjoyed this book when it took me barely two days to finish. And it took that long only because I had to go to work! The story is good and simple, just like comfort food. You get to see characters you recognize and add a new generation. I do like the new and improved Evelyn Couch!

Because she is a master weaver. The way she can interweave her world and these characters is pretty unparalleled in my opinion.
