Publisher's Summary

Sex, love, drugs, and music are just a few of the Carter boys’ daily dealings. Drama follows them everywhere, especially being the largest, most dangerous organization the city of Atlanta has ever seen. The women who want to be with them and the men who want to be just like them can easily get lost in the shuffle when the target is constantly moving to a new Carter’s back.

So, what happens when a slick-mouth girl from Brooklyn decides to go off to college in the unofficial capital of the South? She is quickly introduced to the Atlanta lifestyle, where “Bruh” is part of every other sentence; dreaded ‘fros are a must; hot lemon pepper wings are law; west side accents are always thicker; nobody says ATL unless they’re from out of town; HBCU life is unlike any other; and most importantly, it’s all about family. In particular, it’s all about the Carter family. Without the Carters, there is no Atlanta.

Can wr ger the accents together please

The story was good couldve been better and the fact that book 3 came out on audio before book 2 is crazy. This narrator had her accents all wrong. Its shawty in the south and shorty in the north. Ive read the book series the author has talent but all that bashing the south is uncalled for. The north is no better than the south. Everyone in the same struggle. Continue to grow Desiree and much success.

So exciting!

Whew Chile! Them Carter Boys! This book was not only funny but sexy, exciting and suspenseful. The narration had me lost a bit in the beginning, but I quickly caught up. Some times I want to smack Jade, but all in all, I love these characters. I have already downloaded part 2.

some of its too rachet for me

the story was alright. seemed to be dragging. I did like that there were so many perspectives but HATED that the narrator really couldn't make it known. this story seemed to be hard to follow bc I wasn't sure if she was 1 character from the other bc her voice didn't change. this seemed like you should have had more than 1 narrator or maybe a guy narrator and a girl. but even then she didn't change her voice to sound like another character so it made me have to concentrate a little more than I was expecting and having to rewind. not to mention the story was a little too rachet for me. I can do college, sent and Promiscuous but this was just slack and I guess realistic in Atlanta with how much sex everyone had with some of the same people. it was kind of gross to know that's how it is if this is real

ok but

the narrator was stumbling the entire time. she kept moving the punctuation. you can tell where the words ended on one line and went to the next by how she was reading.
