My heart hurt for Lehana!! But Kashmir didn't let up he wanted his woman. This book had me feeling some kind of way, it was good just too short. I wanted more story. Kashmir had all the energy!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is the first book from Aubree Pynn that I've listened to. I stumbled upon it while searching for another Wesleigh Siobhan narrated book.

I enjoyed the story line. it had some hints of Cinderella and Romeo and JJuliette. It also kind of gave me Beauty and the beast vibes with how the author painted the male lead character as hard, ruthless and dangerous but while still a bit commanding, he softened when in the presence of his beauty (Female lead character)

The steamy scenes were well done. The chemistry between the two main characters was felt all throughout this book.

Aside from good steamy scenes and love connections, the story had drama. it was also emotional.

Now I don't think it really needs to be said but imma say it anyway. Wesleigh Siobhan is the GOAT. She just don't miss. She did a great job with bringing her character to life, as always. I was glad to see her partnering with Sharif Stevens. I love his voice. He did a great job narrating the Vegas Nights series (3 book series) by Christina C. Jones. I've been waiting to hear him in something else. Him and Wesleigh Siobhan was definitely a double treat. And I love how he stuck to narrating the male dialog and Wesleigh did all the Female dialog. it's better when they tag team like that instead of the guy trying to read the Female parts and vice versa.

All that to say, this book was short but I enjoyed every second of it. I definitely recommend!

So, it's a great listen. The chemistry, the trauma, the love, it all blends perfectly like the best drink you ever tasted. I hope we can get some more please and thank you.
