liked it, but

it's not really an opposites attract. just bc you haven't done something doesn't mean you're the opposite. it's not like she hates country music and horses. she was very open to try. she fell off a horse, landed in poo and got back in the saddle. that's not someone who is the opposite of country. cute story though. male narrator has a hot voice. can read all the terrible books to me and I'd swoon. this book wasn't terrible.

The Ryker brothers run the ranch that’s been in the family for generations. They’re on the brink of bankruptcy when their mother arranges for a potential contract to host a reality TV series. This should be interesting! The chemistry between the TV producer and eldest brother, Clint, will make you want to take a cold shower! Great HEA!
Aaron Sherlock really brings out that rough cowboy in Clint’s character, and Stella Hunter is a convincing TV exec. The combination of the narration team and the book is sooooo good that you’re left eagerly anticipating Buck’s story.

A slow burn with a sweet payoff

I have read cowboy romance before but this was my first audiobook experience with it. I loved the writing, and the narration just made it even better. Stella did a great job as usual and Aaron made me swoon so many times my heart still hurts. I really enjoyed the story and this introduction to the Ryker family. I can't wait to try out more from Kim Loraine after I finish this series ❤️🎧❤️

Saddle Up

I loved this book so much that I bought the e-book too, which I seldom do. Kim Loraine does an awesome job with story progression and character development. If you have not heard Stella Hunter you are missing out! She is my new voice crush! Her comedic timing s excellent and she has great characters and her maile voice is awesome! Aaron Shedlock os the quintessential cowboy and brings so much talent to the narration. Stella and Aaron complement each other and nothing is lost between chapters. You will not be disappointed in this book and the series!

I loved everything about this book!

This was an awesome quick story that gripped me right from page one. The narrators did an amazing job!

Cowboy up!

Stella (who is new to me) and Aaron (who is an absolute favorite of mine) are DELICIOUS in this audiobook. I loved this book in print but this audio is fantastic. Can't wait for book 2.

Great series starter!

Absolutely great start to the Ryker Ranch Series. Kim Loraine has written a great romance about a reluctant, heartbroken cowboy hoping to save his ranch, and the sassy Hollywood-type that comes in and not only helps him save his ranch, but also steals his heart.

Clint is a swoony, sometimes grump, somewhat dubious cowboy that's already been done wrong by one woman, and here comes Ever, appearing to be Hollywood-type on paper, looking to make his family reality stars. Of course Clint is going to be skeptical. But he's also going to be smitten. And Ever not only has sass in spades, but she also has so much heart and genuine caring that she's just perfect for Clint.

The audio of this book is simply amazing. Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock knocked the narration out of the park. I could listen to this several times and still be surprised by the nuance that they each bring to their performance. And when Aaron says darlin' my heart just pitter patters!

Clint and Ever

City girl meets country boy. Well Ever was not what Clint expected when he said she had to stay and learn the ropes before he would let her reality tv show come to the ranch. Ever showed up in high heels to a ranch, who does that. This tv exec was not prepared for lift on the ranch, and the chemistry between her and Clint is hot.
I love this story and would definitely recommend it if you like cowboys. The narration was hot.!!!

Awesome Story & Narration 🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥

I loved everything about this book, from Kim Loraine’s wonderful writing style to the storylines and characters she created to Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter fabulous narration. The story swept me right in, grabbing my attention and holding it captive the entire time, once I started I did not want to put it down. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored the lead characters, actually you can not help but fall in love with those swoon worthy Ryker cowboys. This first book is Clint and Ever’s story, Clint is the oldest of the Ryker brothers and has taken the responsibility of helping run the ranch. After being burned by ex, who left him and the ranch in the red, they need to come up with a solution to save the ranch. When an offer from Hollywood comes in with a proposal fo a reality show to be filmed on his ranch he is not thrilled with the idea but it may be just what the ranch needs. Ever comes to the Ryker Ranch dressed like the city girl she is and she really likes what she sees or rather she likes who she see, hot cowboys. She is so out of her element it is not funny, ok, maybe it is. I love how Clint played off of that and gets her to have to spend three weeks working and living on the ranch so she knows what to expect for the contestants of the proposed show. The chemistry between them is smoking hot and I loved how everything plays out for them. The book is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some great humor, heartfelt moments and hot romance. Kim Loraine, thank you for this entertaining and enjoyable story, I am looking forward to what comes for the Rykers in this awesome series.

Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an awesome job bringing the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. Aaron’s portrayal of Clint is spot on, he perfects the role of smoking hot cowboy naturally and with ease. Stella’s Ever portrayal of Ever was perfection too. You could hear how much heart each put into their work as they capture the characters emotions & passion which can be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen 🎧
