amazing

I consider myself a moderate republican, but I wanted to read this book to find out what Obama was about. In the book he presents a refreshingly honest account of how politics works and lays out a centrist vision for the relationship between government and its citizens. Far from demonstrating youthful inexperience, he shows that he has a firm grasp of both sides of the major issues facing the nation as well as a keen understanding of American history and government. While most of the book is about a domestic agenda with little emphasis on foreign policy, I found myself agreeing with the majority of his ideas. I have no doubt that if everybody read this book, Barack Obama would be the next president of the United States.

An Excellant Read

This is packed full of information about what makes this man tick. I will refer to it often.

Remarkable book

A blend of policy, politics, and personal story that I totally enjoyed. Funny and moving. Refreshed my hope that a leader might actually try to reason with us as an electorate, help us work things out rather than just keep either winning or losing.

Who is Obama?

I listened to this book several times over the past 18-24 months to try and get a fix on who Senator Obama is. Part political science, political and social history, and personal beliefs and retrospective, it gave me an insight into his understandings, beliefs, and approach to the world. For those that are undecided if he is the one they should vote for, this is a good start to piecing together the core of the man

Barack has my vote!

If you are questioning if you can really vote for this man, you questions should be answered in this book. He lays it all out on the table for everyone to see. Nothing to hide with President Obama in "The Audacity of Hope." Not to mention his story is amazing.

This is such a great story. Every person should know their story, and Barack knows his. If you love this country and you love an under dog, then you're going to love this true story.
