This book provides very very basic information. It’s great if you have no clue how to handle your money.

Biblical Financial Fast

I really enjoyed listening to this audio book, great advice and instruction from a biblical perspective. I also bought the book. I will be giving this book to a friend or two. Good read, very insightful!

Hard listen but ok basic content reminders

I struggled to finish this audiobook but I paid for it. I wish I had listened to a clip before buying. The reader goes in and out of using this exaggerate “passionate or Church” voice that’s really distracting from the message.

If you are really into Bible scriptures then this will be a good blend of finances and Bible references.

The financial fast is positive.

Must read/listen

I loved every minute of this book. There are so many biblical references, testimonies, and lessons to learn from this.

A little heavy

Not what I expected. A bit heavy on the religion.I didn't get much. Didn't bother looking up the pdfs. It heavy focus on how to give money to the church. I got lost on the finance part, it was 3rd factor of the book. Cute stories from people and psychology of spending. But being grown and honest about money is the truth many cannot face.

Author needs another reader

Great book but the author’s voice is very hard to listen to. I had to stop because it sounds like chalk in on chalkboard to me

Fasting is Spiritual

I am no stranger to fasting, but this is the first financial fast I have ever done in my life. I was pleased to learn that I wasn't too far off the mark when it comes to me finances, but it did make me think about my spending and where my dollars are going.

I did the fast as a challenge for my women's group. hopefully this inspires them to be more intentional about their money.

Thank you Michelle Singletary for this insightful book. I know it will help many people. I for one plan to do this at least bi-annually.
