The author has provided excellent biblical documentation for the premises he expands on in use of ones financial resources. The audio version is helpful. With the author reading/presenting the text the words and concepts come alive.

Solid advice and realistic expectations. I appreciated the biblical view as it is specifically what I was wanting and the scripture quoted was a great reflection of the issues that Scott was trying to shine a light on.

Christians Young & Old Should Read This!

This book is SO MUCH MORE than a book on finances! Scott leads the reader through living out biblical truths in your everyday life. I consider myself a pretty faithful Christian, but many of his points hit me right between the eyes! I really enjoyed the eye opening section on having so much "stuff" that you need to rent a storage space to store it all. (Chapter 11 Spending Problems Versus an Income Problem) This study (book & workbook) should be required reading for all new Christians - especially young married couples! This is a study that I will be repeating frequently. Scott is also the narrator, and he did a wonderful job in delivering the information. It was like getting advice from a trusted friend. I HIGHLY recommend you give this book a read - or listen!

A Must Listen for Financial Discipleship!!

This is a must listen for all people looking to follow God with their finances. I appreciate the foundational first chapters that took the time to explain important principles about financial discipleship (like the moral principles involved with money) as well as the practical financial counsel. I value that this was not “just another finances book” but a significant reminder of God’s perspective on stewardship, money, and the state of our hearts and lives. True to Scott’s writing style from his other books (which are also amazing), the listen feels like a conversation with a trusted mentor. It is a five-star all the way!.
