Fun Wild Ride!

Don’t hesitate to…. download this audiobook as soon as you can! This was a reread for me via audiobook and I was not disappointed. The story absolutely came to life with the excellent narration by @laura_horowitz_narrator Once started, I made every excuse to keep listening… need to vacuum, clean the windows, scrub the toilet… grab those AirPods and see what chaos Delaney Caputo is up to now.
The following is my review from reading this story and my thoughts are the same…. Oh my! I am going to need a long soak in an ice bath after finishing this book. My pearls are clutching their pearls. What a wild ride....and I learned a few things along the way too. lol.
This dark romantic Mafia comedy was pure unhinged chaos, mayhem, with lots of filthy spice...and I loved it. Fast paced, action, hilarious banter & sarcasm, off the charts spice, delicious characters, reveals and betrayals, all wrapped up in an unputdownable story.
I will admit I am normally a fantasy romance reader and I was afraid this would be a bit out of my comfort zone. But if Rebekah writes it and is diving into mafia romance, I am willing to jump in. So worth it!!!

brutally hilarious.

wow this was a ride. while it's super fast paced, it wraps everything beautifully. the twists and turns and absolute debauchery is top tier. laura does an amazing job bring forth the spice and hilarious one liners and jokes. the emotion poured into each character is beyond perfection. I can not wait for the rest of this series. and this is going straight into the favorites and relisten list.

Chaos, humor, and spice right outta the gate

Everyone always says they wish they could read their favorite book for the first time again. Let me tell you, an audiobook is a great way to do that because it feels like a whole new experience of something you already love. And when the narration is top tier? *chef's kiss* Laura Horowitz is so perfect for this role! Single POV is sometimes a struggle for me, but I honestly didn't find myself missing male narration in this- she carried all of the dialog effortlessly on her own. 10/10
