Berlin Wick became an immediate auto-buy author for me after I read The Secrets We Hide (do yourself a favor and grab THAT in audio as well 🥵) and I was so excited to hear about this latest release! What happens when Abby, the most lovable influencer, goes to a fire station on Christmas Eve to donate toys? She finds Jasper (bi-smexual golden retriever extraordinaire that she recently had a meet cute with), Major (the older one with serious daddy energy who likes to watch 👀), and Wade (the quiet single dad who is definitely not attracted to his friend Jasper… not at all 🤭). Every single one of these characters was SO lovable in their own way. The banter and the tension were top notch, especially between Jasper and Wade as Wade wrestled with his feelings for him.

Also… HOLY FREAKING SPICE!!! Blew me away. Do not - I repeat, do not - listen to this in public unless your poker face is made of STEEL. I thought mine was, but I almost completely melted in a lobby full of people while getting my tires rotated. 😂 This was such a feel-good spicy read and the narration was incredible!!! Two new (to me) narrators to love and two that I already loved dearly! 🩷 PSA - do notttt miss the bonus epilogue. 🥵
